We re-cut, ripped and re-sewed, and we finished her son’s quilt in less than a weekend. And she had plenty of time to get him organized and ready to leave for school.
That weekend, I realized that making a rag quilt was so easy that anyone who knew how to sew could make one – if they had complete step-by-step instructions. So I began writing the Rag Quilt in a Weekend! series of instructions for making rag quilts.

I have not had a chance to start a quilt yet but I did take the time to review the DVDs to see if I had made a good investment. After watching the DVDs I was eager and still am to start on a quilt by myself. I am new to quilting and have only may three with the help of the teacher working with me. The classes go rather faster and sometimes I am left with unanswered questions.
