| Quilting Dogs Allowed, tooDogs are allowed in this Gallery, too. We'll separate the dogs from the cats, though so the quilts will be spared from the fray. |

m mouse curled up in tumbling blocks quilt470 viewsThis is the quilt that quilting daughter, Stephanie, will finish. It is one diamond of every fabric I can remember to cut a piece of and sew in. One day it was hanging off of the ironing board, and the next thing I knew, m mouse was curled up on it.admin

Heart Applique Quilt or Wall hanging533 viewsThis quilt was made from machine appliqued hearts. One day I sat down and sewed a bunch of hearts onto 4 1/2 inch squares. When I needed a baby quilt, I pulled some from the stack and sewed them together.
I got fancy with this one and added sashing. between the squares. That will make the quilt larger and separate the hearts from each other so they stand out more.
This is a really easy way to make a baby quilt. You can machine or hand quilt it.admin

Susan T's Lap Quilt65 viewsDear Penny:
I recently signed up for your newsletter, and enjoy it very much. I made my first quilt in 1984 and it was completely made by hand. I still have it hanging on my wall.
I have been able to learn many new tips from you, since I am completely self-taught.
I just completed a lap quilt for a friend. I hand-quilted it, and I think it is one of my nicest. I will attach a photo for you. Hope you like it too!
Sincerely,
Susan TquilterpennyMar 15, 2010

Charito's First Quilt74 viewsJust want to share with you this news that I finally finished my first quilt
project which I started in April 2009. It was quite large, 100" x 89" with
1501 hexagons. The hexagons were hand-stitched but machine quilted. I madeit with straight binding.
Thank you for your many helpful tips especially on binding; it turned out
beautifully.
Thanks again,
CharitoquilterpennyMar 05, 2010
