Eavesdrop on a Telephone Conversation with
Quilters love fabric. Now that's an understatement! When I first started learning how to quilt, I didn't know the first thing about the difference between one fabric and another. As a matter of fact, my first quilts had cotton fabric mixed with polyesters. Even when I started using all 100% cotton fabrics in my quilts, I didn't know how to choose my fabric. I thought they were all the same. Today some of the fabric in those early quilts is thin and worn out. Some of the beautiful colors are now faded while others are still vibrant and as beautiful as they were the day I brought them home from the store. What is the difference, and how can we tell when we are looking at a bolt of fabric which one will make our quilt a true family heirloom that future generations will be able enjoy, and which will fade and wear out and become blankets for the family dogs to enjoy? Sandy, a representative from Hoffman Fabrics joined us in our Eavesdrop on a Telephone Conversation and answered many of our burning questions about fabric.
She answered questions like:
This was a great call. Sandy revealed some of the secrets that make Hoffman Fabric stand apart from other fabric manufacturers - their design process, their manufacturing process, and how they found their unique source for authentic Bali batiks - that are sill made by Balik natives and dried in the sun on big, grass fields. Whether you were on the all or you missed, you having a CD recording of the call will ensure that you have this fantastic information at your fingertips for the future. After all, fabric facts don't change that much over time, and Sandy might provide some information you may not need today, but will need sometime in the future. By having a recording of the call, you are assured that you will have her information whenever you want it. Send Me the CD recording of Sandy from Hoffman Fabrics
